Unlike “Batman,” who is rarely ever referred to as “The Batman,” Fartman recognizes the singularity of his existence. While there have been many incarnations of Batman, there is only one Fartman… The Fartman.*
This is his story, and it reeks.
* Unless, of course, you consider the identically named and trademarked character of Howard Stern’s imagination. Any resemblance between the two should be easily distinguised by yelling out, “Hey… Fartman.” Rather like fans of Ohio State University, The Fartman will only turn around if you address him as “The Fartman.” **
** I should point out that due to grammatical ambiguity, it might appear that I’m suggesting that Ohio State University fans would turn around if you address them as “The Fartman.” That that might make sense to fans of other teams, but it is sadly, not the case.
